About

We coordinate disaster relief efforts in Western North Carolina, uniting organizations and resources to save lives and restore infrastructure. Our network gathers donations, supplies, and volunteers to provide effective support in times of crisis.

Western Carolina Emergency Network

Our coordinated, swift approach bridges critical gaps in disaster response, often reaching communities days before larger relief efforts arrive.

Your support makes this possible. Together, we’re saving lives and bringing hope when it’s needed most.

Typical Day at WCEN

What do we do?

Every day is different, and things change rapidly at WCEN. During immediate relief efforts, a typical day at one of our hubs may involve sending volunteers on missions, distributing supplies, and helping reconstruct the community. Currently, we still support fueling support in WNC from afar and on the ground.

Who helps?

WCEN was established to coordinate relief efforts among multiple organizations. We have people on the ground (and in the air) making a difference. We also have a network of leaders who help, organize, and coordinate from afar. At its core, WCEN is people helping people.
